Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited school program for Physical Therapy (PT)- new grads are welcome to apply!
• Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Texas by anticipated start date
• Experience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but necessarily required

Job Duties:

• Performs in depth patient evaluation and develops treatment plans as indicated for patients on assigned caseload according to discipline standards in accordance with physician’s orders.
• Evaluates patients’ needs and administers therapy to preserve and improve abilities for independent function, such as range of motion, strength, coordination, endurance, gait training, functional mobility, orthotic and adaptive equipment management, and caregiver teaching of those listed.
• Implements treatment plan, provides state of the art Physical Therapy services in accordance with the Plan of Treatment (POT) approved by the physician.
• Educate and train families about various PT techniques and strategies
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
• Open to supervise assistants is a plus but not necessarily required
